THE WOODS

In the deep dark woods of a maze a man was outside his little shed of a house. He was holding a sign but no one else lived on that abandoned dirt road. He walked to where the entrance to the woods maze was. It was close to a busy road and he put the sign in the ground at the entrance to the dirt road to the forest. He was wearing a clean uniform, he stood on a sturdy box by a clothing bin (most likely with clothes in it) and said:

“Who dares to enter the woods maze!?”Quite a few people came up “Ok then.. Follow me to the entrance to the maze!” In total there were twenty three people who entered the maze and they split into four random groups.

Group four was a lookout team on the edge of the forest making sure no one cheated, but what the over groups didn't know was that if caught cheating, branch like snakes would be released into the maze to make sure they didn’t cheat.

Where they were the cages were placed on the tree stumps of cut down trees. The cut down trees were stacked up behind the stumps. There were five stumps with a cage on each one.

These people, in group four, were friends with the man and this was something they did once every six months so people won't get suspicious. They were all large men who each had skull tattoos on their arms. They wore short sleeve shirts and ragged ripped jeans. There were three of them in total.

In the forest the trees were tall and the branches were high and long with no leaves until the top of the tree. On the perimeter there were five cages of snakes that look like branches. The ground was covered with moss and long roots crossing the windy paths.

3 hours later it was starting to get dark and there was a cold breeze in the air.

10 minutes later there was a scream of terror. Group three were the closest to the sound. They started to run in the direction of the sound to see if anyone was in trouble. As they rounded the corner one person tripped on a root of a tree, someone stopped and saw the roots dragging him under the tree. They ran but they were too late. The person was gone and they were all by themselves as the trees close in and dragged them under.

Group two didn't hear the sound from the rustling in the trees- they were trying to get to the middle first so they were cheating. One person was at the back and one at the front in a line.

All of a sudden the person at the front was pulled up by the branches with extreme force. Everyone stood still as branch like snakes were looking at them from all angles. One person moved and all of the branch like snakes looked intently at him, he sneezed, and the snakes went for him and everyone else ran as fast as they could to the path.

Group 1 had been running in circles then they heard the scream. They decided to stay together and made their way out of the maze, but were reported missing two hours later. There was no signs of anybody who entered, nobody lived to see the light of day again.
